Capabilities The users excel in melee attacks without wielding weapons. Rather than relying on weapons or equipment, they draw on their own strength and skill to fight. Capabilities User has both extremely well developed sense of balance, the positioning of limbs and the center of balance as well as the physical condition to use these facts. This combination makes them almost impossible to being knocked down/imbalanced, falling down and able to recover from momentary imbalances near instantly.
User is able to perfectly balance on any object, no matter how narrow or unstable it may be.
- Enhanced Hearing:
Name: Enhanced Hearing Type: Supplementary Description: Capabilities Users have ears enhanced to hear with amazing clarity, distance, and even frequencies outside normal range. Users ears can pick up every single sound, can decipher layer upon layer of differing sounds/conversations, locate the source of noise or pick up a sound from a mile away in a busy city.
Applications Blindsight/Echolocation: by hearing the changes of sound. Infra-sound Hearing: Ability to hear infra-sounds which are below the normal hearing range, since infra-sounds are produced by several natural forces the user is able to sense natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.). Several machines produce these voices as well, so user could hear when they start malfunctioning. Lie Detection: by sensing changes in heartbeat, strain in voice, etc.. Parabolic Hearing: Ability to focus hearing to certain area, or filter out everything but the wanted sound. Aural version of Telescopic Vision. Ultra Hearing: Ability to hear ultrasounds which are above the normal hearing range. These are mostly produced by animals, which gives notable edge for an hunter.

Name: Assassin Type: Personal Description: The user is trained in all ways of the Assassin. To utilize this SC one must have at least +10 strength and speed. This SC can only be learned by training with Assassins. Parkour / Freerunning A form of acrobatics, in which participants navigate through a landscape by performing fluid movements over and across urban or natural structures. - Specifics:
Vertical movement In general, vertical movements involved climbing or scaling structures that provided adequate handholds, or a texture rough enough to grip. Inversely, they also allowed one to safely drop down from a height.
Wallpass was the act of climbing a tall wall by kicking its surface once to propel upwards. Climb-up was the movement of pulling oneself up onto an obstacle from a hanging position. Drop was the act of jumping downwards, after releasing one's grip from a hanging position or bar. Long jump was a leap from a high height, and was usually followed by a break fall. Climb leap was a vertical jump while holding onto a vertical surface, which allowed one to grab potentially out-of-reach handholds. Beam jump was performed from horseback, (or a vehicle like a motorcycle) and allowed one to use the horse's momentum to leap from the saddle, grab a beam, and swing around to either land on it, or on an adjacent one. Leap of Faith was performed only by trained Assassins and Abstergo recruits, which involved leaping from a significant height onto a cushioned material.
Horizontal movement Horizontal movements generally involved moving over large distances such as swimming, sprinting, running or walking, or methods that allowed one to clear obstacles, such as gaps or breaks.
Swing was a movement in which one swung onto a bar and let go, enabling one to grab another object or drop to the ground. Pass involved quickly and smoothly passing over medium sized obstacles. Break fall was a forward roll where the hands, arms, and diagonal of the back made contact with the ground. Arm jump was to land on the side of an obstacle in a hanging position, hands gripping the top edge and holding the body in place. Back eject was to jump backwards from a hanging position onto an opposite structure. Gap jump was performed similarly to a long jump, except over an open expanse between two relatively level areas. Precision jump was a moving jump from one object to a specific spot on another object, usually with a small surface. Dive was only used with merchant stalls, where one jumped hands-first through an open stall and used a roll to get back up quickly. Spring jump could only be done using a springboard, such as those in the Oltrarno District of Florence. It allowed one to jump forward twice as far, through the external force of the device. Corner swing was when one would sharply turn a corner, by jumping forward and grabbing onto a lantern (or any other fixture) mounted on a building's corner, then using one's momentum to swing on it. Vault was to use one's own momentum to pass over or slide under obstacles
Stealth The ability to possess extraordinarily skillful expertise in numerous ways and techniques of stealth. - Specifics:
The user possesses incredibly extensive knowledge and skill in many types and ways of stealth tactics, enabling them to easily slip in and out of areas undetected. Their abilities in all manners of stealth are so refined they appear as mere illusions to those who have been lucky to spot the user. The users of this ability can move throughout even the most guarded of areas and act in true discretion.
Knife and Sword fighting The user has trained extensively in the use of stabbing weapons. - Specifics:
Users have an incredible aptitude for the ways of the sword and dagger. They are able to wield small blades with great proficiency and cunning as well as stealth; concealing multiple knives on their person flawlessly, to be retrieved at will in combat.
Applications Extreme skill with all forms of sword and dagger, paired with the ease with which such weapons may be hidden on the body, allows the user to employ a richly varied fighting style: switching between any number of exotic types of knife mid-battle to hack, jab, hook or otherwise harm a target. More powerful users of this ability may even use some specialized varieties of dagger in ways they were not designed for, such as throwing a stiletto accurately or impaling with a curved blade. Trick moves, misdirection and feints to add to the user's abilities in combat as well as for the purposes of display. The ability to target and exploit an opponent's vital points with flawless accuracy, often in order to make a swift, silent kill or disable without inflicting lethal wounds. Some varieties of dagger lend themselves to throwing, in which case the user's aim can be expected to be nigh perfect, even in the middle of combat or when throwing multiple weapons. In addition, this may allow the user to pin targets down through their opponent's clothing or flesh, preventing them from moving without actually killing them.
Gun Fighting The ability to be highly proficient in handling a gun. - Specifics:
Users are highly skilled with all types of guns allowing them to perform great feats and benefit in a far ranged combat. Users are to have excellent bull-eyes aim on their target via bullets.
Users are also able to operate all variations of guns. They can create guns as well as repair them. Also to have an expert knowledge of guns and handling them. Users have excellent intuition on trigger-initiated, hand-held, and hand-directed implements, especially with an extending bore, which thereby resemble the class of weapon in either form or concept.
General Description: A typical teen, Yata doesn't stand out much without a board under his feet. His attire consists of a long-sleeved, white V-neck shirt with blue lining, a red sweater tied around his waist, dark green shorts, black socks and blue-and-gold sneakers. Underneath his shirt is a loose, black tank top. He wears a black beanie over his head and a pair of headphones around his neck. Yata also wears a large, black wristwatch on his left wrist. About You: History: Yata grew up in a house of 7 kids. Many of his brothers and sisters were smarter and stronger than he was, so he never stood out, and his parents often forgot that he even existed. His older siblings picked on him and used him for the butt of their jokes. Many times Yata would go hungry because everyone else would eat everything. So, home life was miserable. He was often bullied at school, and the females he was attracted to never noticed that he was alive. Furthermore he had an incredible shyness and awkwardness around girls. His lunch money as well as his lunch was taken; most of the time he was a hungry kid. So, school life was miserable. Being so miserable all of the time, Yata developed a bitter and childish attitude. Despite his pathetic, miserable existence, Yata was a music lover who developed an incredible talent for skateboarding. A counselor at school who'd patched him back up after a beat down told him that perhaps he should start attending martial arts classes or something of the like so that he could start defending himself, and since the age of 9 he'd been a regular member of the fighting studio located near his home in the suburbs of Edge City. Yata learned quickly and was soon described as a "Fighting Genius." He cleverly combined his music, skateboarding and Martial Arts skills to create his own unique fighting style. After defending himself against several bullies one day, Yata attracted the wrong kind of attention, and fell in with the wrong crowd. He went from being bullied to becoming one himself. While this wasn't his initial plan, he was now scoring money, which meant that if he missed dinner at home, he wasn't going hungry anymore. If his parents didn't buy him presents and the things he needed, it didn't matter, he'd just go get it himself. He began to be recognized as "one of those bullies." He didn't care. Any recognition was no recognition. Finally - even though he was a bully now - everything seemed to be going good. That is, until the day he and his friends decided to pick a fight with the Boss of the city, who was a kid Angel. They underestimated him, thinking he was nothing but a puny weakling, but the kid defeated Yata with just a single kick, and wasted no time flattening his friends with very little effort. Yata didn't know why at the time, thinking it was just a hallucination of the pain he was going through, but the Boss chose to offer him of all people a job in his "Company" if he could distance himself from his friends. So, Yata decided to clean up his act... somewhat. Knowing the Company was full of people who had strange powers like being able to fly and change the weather, Yata wanted in on that. A story of the Yata family goes back to ancient times, of when the Yata family was a clan, and how the heads of the clan could utilize special "Auras" that gave them extraordinary powers and abilities. No one in the Yata family had been able to use such abilities in hundreds of years, and Misaki honestly thought it was a bunch of bullshit. The story went that one day these "Aura" powers would again re-awaken in a certain Yata of a future generation. If anyone in the Yata family in this generation would be able to take advantage of such abilities, Misaki knew it was going to be one or some of his brothers and sisters. Yet all signs seemed to point to him... so with a butt kicking by the Boss of the city, and after having constantly witnessed strange people come and go from that big tower, Yata began to think this was his chance to find out for sure, start making big bucks, and /maybe/ even score himself a girlfriend in the process. A new chapter in his life begins... Yata is a boisterous, rude and prideful teenager. He is very brash and brutal, showing no hesitation when bludgeoning his opponents, as well as vulgar and irritable. He is insecure about his height and curses openly towards people when things don't go as he'd planned or when people make fun of him. Nonetheless, he shows respect towards his fellow friends and those who manage to best him in a fight. Despite his childish and immature attitude, Yata displays visible hesitation when dealing with girls, often blushing, avoiding eye contact and stuttering around them uncontrollably. He strongly dislikes his feminine-sounding first name, Misaki, and prefers to be called by his last name. When someone mistakenly calls him by his first name he angrily corrects them and tells them not to call him by that name. | |
