Capabilities The user is able to understand the speech or emotions of animal life forms. This ability is quite uncommon and multifaceted. Some variations are magic-based while others are natural talents or mental powers, similar to Telepathy (but limited to animals). The use of Zoolingualism is sometimes imagined as imitating animal sounds, like the barking of a dog. Zoolinguists are normally shown using their abilities in their native language, in an animal-language (like Parseltongue or Mangani), or even mentally without any spoken words.
Interestingly, nearly all variations of Zoolingualism have an innate origin. Most of the known users possess this ability by their birth, like Dr. Dolittle, who had his first conscious experience with zoolingualism in his early childhood. However, it seems to be possible to learn this ability. Therefor, it's necessary to grow up with the need of it, like Tarzan (Tarzan of the Apes), who was raised by Manganis/Gorillas and didn't have contact with other humans until later in life.
Some users are able to understand animals in every imaginable way, which results in enormous knowledge and foreseeability of their actions.

Origins
Natural ability Zoolingualism as a natural ability is quite uncommon, especially amongst humans. That would assume a physiological component, like a body part or an organ. However, the humanoid alien race of the moon Pandora, the Na'vi, are able to establish a special physical connection with their fauna, called Tsaheylu (Na'vi for "The bond"). Tsaheylu allows the Na'vi, to link their mind with the brain of animals to wield influence in their actions, without taking their free will.

Power to create an incredibly enchanting effect that lures and summons anyone perceiving it towards the user.

Capabilities User can create a beacon that draws those perceiving it or only the one targeted towards the user. This ability is irresistible, forcefully causing the target or targets to come even closer. The form of the beacon varies, usually it is based on sound but one targeting any/all senses works as well. Some may be able to use this ability by mental call alone.
In some cases, the user generates beacons of light to direct others or mark their paths.

Capabilities This power is divided into two separate but interlocking aspects:
The user is always, and under any circumstances, physically, personally and socially perfect, graceful and flawless, without anything that would make them look unattractive or distract from their presence. They are perfectly aware how to increase their appeal by apparel, action or choice of words, but even these are simply details to enhance their natural appeal. For example, someone with this ability rising straight from the bed after hard nights partying and wearing rattiest possible clothes would make even best supermodel primped to perfection look homely in comparison.
Secondly user is able to affect other people, both by affecting their minds, emitting pheromones and generally being a perfect companion and/or object of admiration. At the lower level user could make complete stranger treat them like their closest friend in only a few minutes and be perfectly willing to help them in any way they need. Someone with more power could make anyone treat them like someone who is privileged to do and get anything they wish and be admired and even loved for it. At the higher level user could make people fulfill their smallest suggestion, although not against their deepest principles. At the most powerful user could simply eradicate free will, making everyone slavishly devoted to them and willing to do anything to please the user.

General Description: Galene, while modest in personality, is considered to be one of the prettier examples of her people; moon-pale skin and brilliant scales that shimmer and radiate even in the darkest depths. Her hair flows like the water she was born from, dark and silken and well cared for. Beneath the waves she is like no other, she has no real family to speak of; her people do not believe in having classical nuclear families; they believe it takes a village to raise a single child; and an entire city to raise a race. While she never had any siblings, she was never want for attention, her cousins and age mates numbering in the hundreds meant she always had someone to play and laugh with. This has left her with an overall cheerful disposition; although she will admit to harboring a slight terror of being alone. She is one of the few of her people that has ever shown any interest in the world above the waves; and as such is one of the few merfolk in possession of an amulet that allows her to exist above the waves for long periods of time. Her appearance is somewhat similar when she is 'human'; pale white skin and long black hair complemented by her icy blue eyes. When on land, she prefers to dress in blues and greens of shades normally found in the sea, and almost always has a seashell or something similar in her hair. About You: History: Galene is your typical merfolk; she was born in a clutch of hundreds and raised in the communal hatchery with her cousins and age mates. Her kind, or rather, her people; do not believe in individual families; they are all one big family that works together to keep the others alive and happy. As such, she has no concept of sibling, nor of loneliness; she has never been alone for any significant amount of time, nor looks to be. Being alone scares her, actually; as it is the one unknown she was never prepared for. While fairly young, she is no child; proficient enough in her inherited abilities to protect herself in her normal habitat; although not as much for above the waves. She is curious about the land locked world; and as such has spent a significant amount of time, for a merfolk, above water. While able to assume a human form normally, the transformation has many drawbacks, and it is impossible to use it to explore for any real amount of time. To fix this, she carries a special amulet that allows her to exist in a fully human form for extended periods of time, so long as she remains properly hydrated. Her current focus in life is to explore the coast lines near her ancestral home; using her amulet to buy herself the time she needs for this.
