Dragon:
a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits,
that features in the myths of many cultures. There are two distinct
cultural traditions of dragons: the
European dragon, derived from European folk traditions and which is ultimately related to Greek and Middle Eastern mythologies, and the
Chinese dragon, with counterparts in Japan, Korea and other East Asian countries.
Broadly speaking, dragons can be divided into following groups:
Western Dragonstypically depicted as a huge fire-breathing, scaly and horned
lizard-like creature, with leathery, bat-like wings, with four legs and a
long muscular tail. It is sometimes shown with feathered wings, crests,
fiery manes, ivory spikes running down its spine and various exotic
colorations. Dragon's blood often has magical properties. The typical
dragon protects a cavern or castle filled with gold and treasure and is
often associated with a great hero who tries to slay it. Though a winged
creature, the dragon is generally to be found in its underground lair, a
cave that identifies it as an ancient creature of earth.
Asian Dragonstypically portrayed as long, scaled, serpentine creatures with four
legs. Traditionally they symbolize potent and auspicious powers,
particularly control over water, rainfall, hurricane, and floods, and
are also a symbols of power, strength, and good luck. They have also
extended range of supernatural powers, chancing size or form (most are
able to take human shape), fly among the clouds or hide in water, form
clouds, turn into water, change color as an ability to blend in with
their surroundings as an effective form of camouflage or glow in the
dark.
Lesser Drakes is something of a catch-all category, including the lesser dragon-like beings, such as
wyvern,
worm/wyrm,
lindworm, etc., which are generally smaller and more animal-like in mind and behavior.

General Description:As a dragon Re'yoak is massive, from his front paws to the top of his head he stands at fifty-two feet tall. From his snout to his tail tip he measures in at one hundred seventy-seven feet long. His scales and body fur are pure white, while his mane, which grows from his spinal ridge to his mid back, is the darkest of blacks. His eyes are narrow, feline looking with slitted pupils and pine green irises.
As a human Re'yoak stands at six foot six inches, with broad shoulders and a sculpted masculine body. Most of his facial features are "tilted" or pointed, such as his eyes, eyebrows and ears. His tear ducts go a bit further down his nose than what a normal human's do. He has high cheek bones and a square jaw, but his face is more angular and rarely wears a smile. On his jaw he sports mutton chops, which by a chin strap connect with what has been dubbed a "goat patch". On his upper lip he keeps a thin but long moustache that resembles the stereotypically "Asian" kung fu grandmaster moustache.
His well muscled chest bares no hair, leaving nothing but pale smooth skin over his washboard abs. Re'yoak is in perfect physical shape, and at times it seems as if he's flaunting it due to his choice of clothing. Normally Re can be seen wearing baggy black martial arts pants and a casual Kimono top, neglecting shoes often, but while training he forgoes his shirts and wears only baggy weighted black martial arts pants.
About You:
History:Many years ago I was born to my grey dam and white sire. It was a time of rare peace for my race. We were not fighting the humans, for they had left us alone, ceasing their expansions onto my kind's ancient lands and focusing their attentions elsewhere.
We are a proud race though, and we enjoyed ourselves just a bit too much. Our arrogance brought the human's greed filled attentions back to us, causing yet another slue of raging battles and wars. It had been but only a year or so since I had broken my egg's shell. That is when the humans stooped lower than we had thought. We has over estimated the humans' level or morality. Into our lair they had snuck; breaking eggs, killing the young-lings and slitting the throats of those who slept.
Months prior they had found our weakness out. The anti-magic totems and talisman they had carried about with them to ward off the spirits effected us as well. The anti-magic charms crippled us, ripping away what we had been born with, forcefully subduing and stripping away our magic. Hurting our essence. With them they brought anti-magical "enchanted" weapons so that they could exterminate us. Exterminate and expel us like we were some lowly pestilent rodents that needed to be purged from the world.
The massacred us in our sleep. My brothers, sisters... My sire and my dam. Many of us were lost that night. I was so young though... The memories of my family are hazy at the best of times. I don't remember much of what my dam and sire taught me. Oh how time has drug on and smudged those memories. The few of us that had survived came to live with some of the oldest of our race. The stories they told us were wonderfully glorious.
They spoke of a war long ago, a war between human like beings that were not as they were. Beings that hide their truths behind a mask of lies. Beings that emitted the most beautiful of light and sang the most gorgeous of songs.
The elders told us that the war was between the dark and light energies of out world. How the dark had grown jealous of the light, how it wanted vengeance and attentions, how it loathes all living things of the light. The light loved all living things, it wanted to protect our world whereas darkness wanted to destroy it. But without it's twin darkness, light meant nothing at all. That is why the light never completely eradicated the dark.
They also told of how we came to be. How the light was lonely, how she wanted a child to help her. So, while she was in her eternal struggle against dark, light gave birth to a long bodied creature. Light gifted this creature with beautiful fur, strong scales, lengthy horns, perfect horns, and the sharpest of talons. She also gave the first of us several more things such as: cunning, speed, strength, and emotion. Light gifted her daughter with the purest form of magic and the perfect mate so that her daughter would never be lonely or longing and soon the daughter, "Dragon" and her ate brought many children into the world. The elders explained to us that each and every one of us is a child of the daughter, and therefore a descendant of the light.
The old ones were wise, but fragile with age and old almost-lethal wounds. Many of them had lost what we call a soul mate to the humans or one of the other two-legged-no-horned races of the planet. The elder ones taught us what a soul mate was. It is believed that when a soul crosses from the spirit world to the mortal realms, it splits into two halves. One half goes into you, and the other half resides within your true mate's essence. You wouldn't know if someone was your soul mate until you met them, until your consciences and souls touched for the very first time.
I was still young for our race when I met my soul mate. Ten and Six human years old I was. Her name was Hana. She was so beautiful... More wonderful than the moon's beauty, her hair a sweet cobalt blue, her soft fur a beautiful pale alabaster... Her eyes the same liquid green as my own... Her scent was so sweet, like that of honey and fresh mist. We ran away from the others, intent on having our own time, without the interference of our other peers. Constantly we were in each other's minds, our souls seeming to merge into one. I was so happy when she was around, everything was so beautifully vibrant. My soul felt things that it had never felt before, I heard things I hadn't dreamed of, saw, smelt and tasted things in a different, more harmonious way...
I even taught Hana the magic behind shifting forms, and she joined me with enthusiasm, a drive to learn more about humans, why they acted the way they did. Curious like young cats we were, sticking our noses were they shouldn't have been. We were warned by the elders, but we paid no heed. As long as we were with each other everything would be alright.
This relationship with my dear sweet soul mate continued and eventually she went into what human's call 'spring heat'. We constantly touched, our bodies embracing in the most carnal yet beautiful of ways. I felt things that I had never felt before. I had experienced the highest of physical bliss with her... To hear her say my name, how she mewled, to feel her nails dragging down my back as I nibbled at the sweet flesh of her neck. Every breath, every single touch of flesh on flesh made me feel so alive; her touch made me feel like a live wire. Humans would consider our acts violent... But that's only because they are so breakable that they fear feeling the same soul elating bliss that mating with a soul mate brought.
A child was gotten out of our drive to procreate. I wept tears of sweet happiness when she told me of her status. I was with the being I loved the most. I had created life with her, a life that was budding, growing inside of her sheltered womb. We were going to raise, shelter, care for and love the child. The moment she told me of her status I felt my heart grow, a new found love for someone that I hadn't even met yet... An unconditional love that was so strong I felt like I was suffocating with a vibrant joy.
Everything was so perfect.
And then the Humans tore her and my child away from me.
I was out hunting and gathering various things for Hana while she stayed at home that day. She was feeling sick, so I had offered to get the herbs and meat for our food. I should have never left. While I was gone humans dragged her from our home, using anti-magic charms to keep her from retaliating. They drug her by her beautiful long blue hair into the town's square. Called her a witch, blamed her for committing sin and going against their god...
Then they ran an enchanted blade through her. I had arrived just in time to see her form fall off of the blade. In that second everything ceased to matter. I was not angry, nor sad. I was simply in pain and worried for Hana. Her pain was my pain, with our minds so enveloped in each other's we might as well have shared the same body. My gut clenched as I saw her wound. The had run the steel through her diaphragm... She was bleeding so much... The sap of her veins gushing out at a frightening speed. I grabbed her form up, holding her close to my chest as I dumped all of the energy I could into her, my mind was in a panic... I couldn't stop the bleeding... The enchantment on the blade... Anti-magic... She was dying in my arms...
Dying... She was
dying and I could do
nothing to stop her pain,
nothing to save her
or my unborn child... The two beings that I loved the most... The two beings that made up my soul. My throat was tight as I whispered to her.
"Hana... Please... Hana don't leave me... Don't please... Hana... Hana... Don't fade... Don't go! Please!" My pleas were growing more and more urgent by the second, my mind a jumbled puzzle of chaos as I clutched her even closer to me... Yet she seemed so
calm. With a soft hand she reached up and touched my face, her liquid green eyes staring into my soul. A sad smile crossed her face.
"I love you more than any... thing my ... my wonderful mate... You've made my life... worth live... ing..." Her physical voice gave out as she sucked in a breath.
'Everything you've done for me. Just having you has made everything so wonderful... Don't mourn me...'And she was
gone.
Gone.
Gone! Gone gone gone
gone! I was alone as I felt her conscious fade, as I saw her light fade from her eyes... Everything...
Everything was so
empty... The exponential weight of everything crushing down on me... I had gone from a man of steel to that of
paper, so easy to crush...
Emptiness... That was the only thing I could feel... My soul... My essence torn apart.
Grey... I couldn't breath...
Everything was grey... the sun no longer felt warm, the breeze no long carrying the nip of the early spring.
My
everything was gone.
I was
reduced to a
broken,
shattered being. My heart roared with pain and agony as each lucid tear spilling sob made my body curl around her still warm form. My fingers curled in, grabbing up handfuls of her loose light orange kimono top as I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck. Her sweet honey mist scent mingled with that of blood and death as I kissed her still hot flesh. My left hand sliding through her soft hair to cradle her head, bringing her close as my right hand pressed to her lower stomach. I could feel the small bump that was my too-young-to-save child, my child that was now
gone as well, killed before it ever had a
chance to live... Before it ever got to meet me, before I ever got to help
nurture it, to ever call it by it's name or hear it's soft voice call me '
daddy'...
My tears of sorrow had soaked a large part of Hana's top... I
wanted to believe that this was all just a dream... That I was just going to wake up to her asking me if I was alright. Then when I told her what I dreamt, she would just hum a sweet melody softly before kissing me and pressing herself closer to my chest... But I
wasn't sleeping... No... No dream could ever imitate what I was feeling. The
crushing loneliness... The destroying blow of failure.
"Hana..." I keened softly. Her name was repeated several times, each keen getting louder and more distraught.
"Hana... No... My Hana... My Hana... Gone... My Hana..." My voice was cracking with a boundless hopelessness.
Then I felt someone touch me.
"My good sir... Why are you mourning over this lowly pathetic witch?"Burn. They would all
burn.
Burn, screaming with the pained howls of a
thousand deaths. They had
killed my Hana. Now they insisted on
degrading her... Calling her a witch when she was anything but. My sweetest Hana. She had had not a violent bone in her body. Always soft spoken and kind hearted,
willing to let anyone into her home if they were in distress. She loved to help people, she could list every single herb known to man and dragon, knew every potion, had a remedy for everything. She couldn't have hurt something even if she tried. Now these
horrid,
disgusting humans... They
took her kindness, her wisdom, her beauty from the world. They had
stolen her from me with the
pathetic excuse that she was a witch. No. She was anything but a witch.
These Humans... They
would pay. They would be
erased from existence like a snowflake in an inferno. They didn’t
deserve to live. Hiding behind the name of their
false god, their
false prophet to get away with
murder... No, they did
not deserve life, not when they had so
willingly stolen life from my Hana’s supple lips,
stolen my child’s fragile heartbeat before it could even look upon the world...
A touch was all that was needed. All of my emotions, turbulent rage, exponential sadness, the lingering panic... They all melted together, coalescing into one liquid painting of
unmistakable agony. My energy in itself was fatal; enriched as it was with such vibrantly charged feelings. All I could think of was
destroying the humans... In a single split second my energy reacted to this, climbing up the man’s extended arm. My energy was ripping him apart at the most basic of levels, obliterating the atoms that made up his body. His death was fast, painful, but fast. I had heard his mental pain, his agony as he fell apart at the seams. His panic was delicious, but yet in a way it was not enough to sate the gaping hole that my heart had become. No... Emotional hurt turns people into raging, destruction hungry, mindless beasts. Beasts that only seek to inflict their pain onto everything. I was going against every single moral value I had practiced previously; my disliking of violence, my drive for peace... Everything stopped mattering in those few minutes...
The screams of pain and panic from the
women and
younglings... How I made them
suffer... They deserved
every second of it, the pain of being ripped apart at fundamental levels. I wasn’t me...
No. I was me. My rationality drained away, my heart taking over, doing things on impulse, without thought. Barbaric. Primal. Lowly. Animalistic. They had to pay... They
had to suffer...
And before I knew it... Everything was dead. All the women, younglings... The men and elderly. They all fell before me like the
pitiful fragile creatures that they truly were. Fell like delicate paper flowers before a great snow storm from the mountains.
